The Pumpkin Patch!

We decided at the last minute Saturday morning to head out to the pumpkin patch since this was probably going to be the last nice day for the next 6 months or so. A friend recommended Eveland Family Farm and I must say it is indeed the most fun pumpkin patch we've ever been to! They had the most kind and gentle free roaming potbelly pig, a couple of escapee artist goats, 2 shy peacocks, and some really cool llamas and miniature donkeys. We went on a hayride with Norah, which she loved, but only after we had waited for a very long 5 minutes and it began to actually move ;o) Then after all that fun we let Miss Norah pick out a couple of pumpkins and we called it a day!

  1. Who is this sweet little girl in the red coat with the enchanting smile? Why it's Miss Norah, and she looks like she stepped right out of a storybook with her lovely coat, cute pigtails, and expressive face. And she brought her mommy, daddy, and a pumpkin hat to the pumpkin patch! How perfect. What an exciting day this must have been. All those cool animals, new experiences, pumpkins, and a hay ride in the fresh crisp air. I'll bet little Miss Scarlett was tired but happy at the end of the day. I love the pictures of Norah with mommy and daddy - What a happy delightful family. The ones of Renee and Norah are striking in that they look so much alike. In the last picture of Norah & Renee (just before the pumpkin picture) where Norah has a not smiling face, Renee looks so much like her father, Stephen. The pumpkin pictures - how absolutely adorable. The colors are gorgeous, and her pumpkin hat - how could you not love it. So cute the way she points to things. I could just hug the little darling. The first picture of Norah by the pumpkins with her pigtails - she looks like Renee's twin when she was little.
